IDOT NEWSFLASH (June 10, 2010): NEW LAW AFFECTS ALL BIDDERS

ATTENTION ALL BIDDERS

Public Act 96-0920 was signed into law on June 9, 2010.  This law makes all of the changes to the procurement code that were made by Public Act 96-0795 apply to only those procurements solicited on or after July 1, 2010.

Do to this new law the subcontractor requirements that were included at the end of the proposals for the June 11, 2010 letting will not be in effect for this letting.

All of the new requirements in the proposal that will be submitted with the bid are still in effect.
