The Special Provisions for this contracted indicated that the Pre-bid Conference that was held Wednesday, August 30, 2006 was mandatory for all prospective bidders. This is incorrect, attending the Pre-bid Conference is not required for Authorization to Bid.

Prospective bidders are reminded that they must submit the Bidder's Special Qualifications to both:

The submitted information will be reviewed, and if requested by the Engineer, an inspection made

of the prospective bidder’s facilities and/or equipment. If it is determined that the prospective

bidder is qualified to bid, he will be issued the “Authorization to Bid”.
