IDOT NEWSFLASH: SBI added to Item 51 and Revised rule for new Office in Illinois affidavit ________________________________________ NOVEMBER 18, 2011 LETTING Please note that contract 64H47 (Item 51) is now a Small Business Set-Aside. (The addition of the SBI will be noted in the Revised Notice of Letting Bulletin) Also, please note this new ruling affecting the required affidavit attesting that the contractor has an office in Illinois. The affidavit is not required on Federal Aid projects. If the Office in Illinois affidavit is not found as the first page of the electronic proposal posted on the Internet, then that proposal is a Federal Aid project.
